Book Notes- Christian Life Patterns by Whitehead and Whitehead

This book frames maturation in a way that looks at stages of life as religious invitations. With each stage, each period of growth, having its own suffering and resistance to change and need to let go. The topic of maturity is discussed with a new understanding that adulthood is not a "static period of relative stability, but as a dynamic series of expectable changes." It moves into the later stages of generativity which I think would make this something I would recommend to someone who has moved past mid-life and into service and balance.  It might be rare to have so much information and detail about moving through this stage.
