Labyrinth experience follow up for 2010

Last year our oldest son's labyrinth experience inspired the Maundy Thursday's Homily at St. Paul's. This year it was equally inspiring though we didn't have the same circumstance that fueled the sharing of the experience.
After concluding his walk of the labyrinth, I asked him what he learned this year.
His reply was quick and poignant.
"This year I didn't have a specific request when I
got to the center. I just had an image of my baby sister".
He showed me a drawing of the labyrinth with a swaddled child in the center of the labyrinth with his newborn sister's name prominently displayed.
There is nothing more soothing to a new mom than an older sibling expressing so much in such a simple, loving act.
